This is an emulsifier - so in other words it ensures water and oil bond together to create luxurious thick creams. Derived from coconut and rice bran oils, it's one of the few emulsifiers out there that is truly palm oil free. Completely biodegradable, naturally derived and considered safe in both leave-on and rinse off products, it's one of our favourite ingredients!
